Emma's Party

My neice Emma turned six years old! I was so glad that the weather was nice because parties are so much fun outside. Her party was Hawaiian themed. She wore a large lei around her neck and as guest arrived she offered them a small lei. Her birthday cake had palm trees with a beach on it and the pinata was a flip flop sandal. We had a barbeque complete with hamburgers, hotdogs, bratwursts, potato salad, chips, and soda. We played football and badminton in the park and watched the kids play on the playground. It was a lot of fun to be with family for the day. I even got a little color to my skin; pink/red.
Emma looking so cute in her lei at the party. I love that she is such a poser. Anytime anybody goes to take a picture of her she stops what she is doing and poses. She definately takes after her mother.
Me and Emma. She is so adorable! I have really missed her since she moved to Orem.
Emma got a new bike for her birthday. She was so excited about the Barbie bag on the the front. As soon as I finished taking this picture she filled it up with all of her birthday treasures (the ones that fit anyway). My dad took her around the park helping her ride her new bike. She had so much fun.
Carson and I at the party. Carson hates getting pictures taken so I had to post the only one I had. He had a lot of fun chatting with the men in the family.

What a fun birthday party! I love summer, and parties like that get me so excited! And we aren't out of the ward forever yet.... but soon.

She is so cute!!! I remember my first bike, it definitely wasn't as girlie as your neice's was, even though I would have loved it to be:)

PS. Here is their awesome web cite, and the cool thing is all of their swimsuits we can wear when we are prego.
