Well we went to the doctor the other day for our big ultrasound and to find out what we are having and you will never believe what happened; our little bundle of joy was all folded up and would not let us take a peek between the legs. That's right, we did not get to find out what we are having. So now, since our insurance company will only pay for one big ultrasound, we cannot find out until the birth (unless I have problems, which I hope I don't). This is not a joke folks! I would not lie about something so sad. Oh well, I guess we will get a BIG surprise in April. CAN'T WAIT!
Other than the upsetting news, our baby looks healthy with all organs intact. That's all I can ask for at this point.

AAhh I could not wait!! If you get antsy, you should go to a gender ultrasound place in the mall. Give it a few weeks, once the baby is a little bigger, those places do a good job of telling you the sex. ;)
Wow! That is so crazy! Your a good women if you can wait it about killed me just waiting until half way! So glad your little "person" looks healthy! Congrats!
That is so sad! You anxiously look forward to the big day of finding out... and you don't. So sorry! I'm glad he/she's healthy though.
If you get really desperate to find out you could head to SLC or Provo and find a Fetal Photo's shop. I think they're a little pricey, but you get some way cute pictures and they might be able to clue you in...
Oh that would be so hard! I went and paid extra at the Aspen womens center in Provo and found out at 16 weeks.It cost me 50 dollars even. I really wanted to know,I am so impatient. I am sure there is somewhere like that near you, you could go to if you really didn't want to wait. Just an idea. Happy to hear He/She looks healthy!
Don't be too sad - we waited until both Nora and Miles were born to find out what they were - and it was SO AWESOME!! Makes labor & delivery very exciting!

I would be going crazy to wait until birth. I'm with Stephanie...I'd go pay money somewhere else to find out what I was having! Glad everything else with the pregnancy is going well!
We didn't find out with Chandler and it was really fun. Don't worry about having clothes or anything like that. We had the showers after he was born. The only people who it drove crazy were the Grandma's. Congrats on the baby.

Start buying pink. Same thing happened with my daughter and I have about 3 friends who's daughters did the same. Even my doctor said girls are WAY more likely to keep it a secret.
